Market SW returns on Friday nights to the Southwest Waterfront!

March 26th, 2021
Market SW | Alternate Fridays
Opening: June 25th
Time: 4pm - 10pm
Location: 425 M St SW, DC

Returning June 25th from 4pm-10pm, Market SW, the beloved night market at Southwest Waterfront will once again provide a splash of culture, shopping, entertainment, food & beverages, and some much needed outdoor community engaged fun to the corner of 4th and M Street SW. The market will continue every other Friday through October 15th.

After a year spent providing small business and performance interaction virtually, Market SW enters its 5th year, with support from the SWBID, expanding its presence as a Friday night staple on the Southwest Waterfront. The night market is directly across the street from Waterfront Station Metro and near Arena Stage.

With an inviting mix of local and creative businesses, food trucks, live music, a fully stocked beer garden, colorful lights, and family-friendly activities, each market creates a lively atmosphere of a neighborhood outdoor living room. The market attracts hundreds of weekly shoppers including families, young professionals, and home-owning seniors from the surrounding community. The neighborhood is home to a wide selection of recreational, cultural, and park destinations, including the main campus of the Smithsonian Institution along the National Mall, and The Wharf. There is also adjacent and near-by public parking.

As always, we are looking for unique, creative, and inspired entrepreneurs and small businesses with a diverse mix of art, crafts, handmade jewelry, accessories, bath/beauty, furnishings, decor, and collectibles, as well as other local and handcrafted products to present. If your business is looking to gain public exposure and professional experience in outdoor, face-to-face retail, we offer 10 x 10 space sizes, tents not included.

For those interested in applying, you can find more information at the "Apply Here" section of the Market SW website or go directly to the app Here.

The Flea Market at Eastern Market is Building Back. More Exhibitors Welcome

The long running (38 years!) and diverse participation (representing 5 continents and a world of unique products!) of The Flea Market at Eastern Market has taken a step forward in shedding its Covid related limitations.

While the market has continuously been weathering the pandemic uncertainties on 7th Street and the C St Plaza on Capitol Hill Sundays in 2021, this weekend will launch a larger seasonal layout, removal of all restrictions and protocols (keep wearing a mask at your discretion) and return of many hibernating vendors. The market now, in the first time in 18 months, is again accepting applications for new vendors as well.

From made in DC crafts to vintage finds and handmade products from around the world, we are accepting applications for participation at The Flea Market at Eastern Market.  Apply Here
